If you live in a country in the European Economic Area (EEA), services, applications and websites are provided by LeverX, which for the purposes of applicable data protection legislation is the data controller/processor. However, as LeverX is located outside the EEA, we have designated the internal representative to whom you may direct any issues you have relating to our processing of your personal data. 2. Why and how we collect and use your personal information

We may collect your personal data as an individual for various purposes, such as the following:

– Access and use of websites or other online services

When entering one of our websites, or using our online services and applications, we will record information necessary to provide you with access, for the operation of such systems and for us to comply with security and legal requirements in relation to operating them, such as IP address and browser, application settings. We also collect information about your activities during your visit in order to personalize your website and applications experience, such as recording your preferences and settings, and to collect statistics to help us improve and further develop our websites, applications and services. We use such types of personal data only for the functioning of the applications and services that provided to you. LeverX collects information only to provide better services to you, and for functioning applications in accordance with expectations of users.

Where we reference that, we use your personal information in relation to marketing, improvement or development of our applications or services, for reasons of safety and security, or regulatory requirements other than in connection with your agreement or request, we do this on the basis of our legitimate interests, or with your consent.

– Responding to your request for information, order, or support

When you contact us (online or offline) in connection with a request for information, to order a product or service, to provide you with support, or to participate in a forum, we collect information necessary to fulfill your request, to grant you access to the product or service, to provide you with support and to be able to contact you. For instance, we collect your name and contact information, details about your request and your agreement with us and the fulfillment, delivery and invoicing of your order and we may include client satisfaction survey information. We retain such information for administrative purposes, defending our rights, and in connection with our relationship with you.

Where we reference that we use your personal information in connection with a request, order, transaction or agreement (or preparing for the same), or to provide you with services that you requested (such as a website), we do this because it is necessary for the performance of an agreement with you.

– Your use of LeverX Payment Terms Governance application

We may use information processed on your use of PTG application to allow us to:

  • Establish statistics about the usage and effectiveness of our applications and services;

  • Improve and personalize your use and experience of our applications and services;

  • Tailor our interactions with user;

  • Inform our clients on overall use of their applications and services, and improve and our applications and services.

 

In the course of providing technical support to user, LeverX may sometimes have incidental access to data that user has provided to us or data that is located on appropriate system. This data may contain information about user, user organization’s employees, customers, partners or suppliers. The Privacy Policy does not apply to our access to or handling of this personal information; the conditions regarding the handling and processing of this data is covered by the applicable agreements between user and LeverX, such as Terms and Conditions for PTG, SLA.

If your personal information is protected by EU data protection law, LeverX’s legal basis for collecting and using the personal information described above will depend on the personal information concerned and the specific context in which LeverX collects it. 

However, LeverX will normally collect personal information from you only (a) where it needs the personal information to perform a contract with you, (b) where the processing is in its legitimate interests and is not overridden by your rights, or (c) where it has your consent to do so. In some cases, LeverX may also have a legal obligation to collect personal information from you or may otherwise need the personal information to protect your vital interests or those of another person.

 

4. How do we protect your information?

We use regular Malware Scanning.

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

LeverX protects your personal information in the same way that it protects its other confidential information, such as storing it on secure servers that only select LeverX personnel have access to, and by encrypting it to help prevent access by any unauthorized parties. LeverX has put in place procedures to deal with any personal information breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach when legally required to do so.

All LeverX members, all our staff and third parties whenever we hire them to provide support services, are required to observe our privacy standards and to allow us to audit them for compliance.
